Greek cuisine, unquestionably, can satisfy the most discerning gastronomic demands of our Olive Grove’s guests. In Gera’s Olive Grove, eating is considered an event of special importance. Every morning, guests have the pleasure in the estate’s court-yard to experience a rich breakfast made up of delicious local specialities and traditional recipes such as fresh bread, pies, cookies, mouth-watering cakes , jams of various flavours, and traditional sweets homemade(occasionally) by women cooks of the local area. To this unique breakfast menu is added a wide selection of fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy- that are locally grown and gathered in the grove, or by local enthusiast farmers of the area.
It is not by rare chance that in Gera’s Olive Grove, gastronomic offers are confined to one meal(breakfast) during the day. The bountiful breakfast menu served to Gera’s Olive Grove’s visitors justifies such decision. However,besides
breakfast, there is the possibility of extra meals provision(lunch or dinner) for
those guests who want to have an on-premise eating. The menu is not standard
and comprises of traditional Hellenic dishes mainly of local cuisine. Orders to
prepare particular kind of meal are accepted as long as the person in charge is
notified at least 1 day in advance.
In parallel, olive grove’s workshop unit offers a wide variety of appetizers –vegetables, olives, seafood and barbecued fish that accompany ouzo, soft drinks, and refreshments for on-site or take away consumption.
Despite the wealth and quality of goods produced and served in the grove, travelers should also make room in their schedules to visit the area’s scenic tavernas and restaurants which offer incomparable local delicacies at affordable prices in idyllic settings.
