Skamia’s Folklore Museum & Stratis Myrivilis hall
Since 2002, the folklore museum is hosted in the basement of Skamia’s primary school. It is a stone made building with view over the Asia minors shores from the Mpampa’s cape up to the gulf of Ayvali & Adramyttium.

Museum George Iakovidis

The art Museum «George Iakovidis» is the first digital museum of its kind in Greece and one of the few in Europe. The museum is located at the village of Xidera, the birth place of one of Greece's greatest painters. This Digital Museum uses new technologies to present the work and life of the painter.At the ground floor, digital applications utilize documentation, taken from his personal family moments, professional achievements and social network, in order to present the personality of Iakovovidis(1853-1932) through the major stations of his life.At the basement, there is a video projection with regards the artistic development of Iakovidis whereas at the same room, educational activities are taking place. Painter's Artworks, accompanied by explanatory narration and games, are presented via a cd-rom under the label "In the workroom of George Iakovidis" which has been specially created for children.  

 
Μuseum of Ouzo (and Oil)
To revive the island's rural tradition in a recreational way, visit the Museum of Ouzo in Plomari and the Museum of Oil (within the Ouzo Museun): Plomari, 1st km of the Plomari-Mytilene provincial road. Ouzo of Plomari Isidoros Arvanitis invites you to discover the magic "World of Ouzo", through a unique tour in its distillery in Plomari Lesvos. The distillery is located in picturesque Plomari, considered the birthplace of ouzo, in the midst of a magnificent olive grove, a few minutes away from the famous beach of Agios Isidoros.
